About the API
What this endpoint does.
Fraud checks, geo-gating and personalisation all want to know where a request is coming from. This endpoint geolocates an IP — country, region, city, latitude/longitude and timezone — plus the ISP and ASN behind it.
Leave the ip parameter out and the endpoint locates the caller automatically from the forwarded headers, which is the simplest way to geo-detect a request in front of a CDN.
